The Servants Live Like Kings/Queens

Those who we, the American people, elect and send to Washington are our servants. They are public servants and temporary employees. Yet one would not know that by looking at how they live. These servants, these temporary employees, live extravagant lifestyles. They have champaign dinners, use chauffeurs, and use tax payer money to take trips to places like Jamaica and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Their salaries are way too large and they are probably the only servants/temporary employees who get full health insurance. To make matters worse, if it could get worse, is that they don't work 40 hours a week. In fact most of them could hardly honestly claim to even work 20 hours a week. Yet there they are living the "high life" off the backs of the average citizen.

My fellow Americans, it is time we stand up and demand a stop to this insanity. Every public servant who is not working 40 hour weeks should be fired. Every public servant who uses tax payer money to travel to places like Jamaica and the U.S. Virgin Islands should be fired. Every public servant, other than the President and Vice President, who uses chauffeurs rather than their own cars, trains, and taxis, should be fired. They should be restricted by very tight laws and term limits. No person should be able to hold any elected office more than twice in their entire life. Their salaries should match that of public school teachers, police officers, and fire fighters.

It is time for us to take this country back. Look what they have done to it! A massive national debt that they add to everyday by continuing and creating more government programs that the country cannot afford. Soldiers fighting other countries wars all over the globe. Look at the mess those people in Washington DC have made of our nation! This is not what the Revolutionary generation fought and died to create! It is time we take America back.

How do we do that? May I make several suggestions...

1. Do not vote for any Republican or Democrat in 2010 or 2012.
2. Demand the immediant resignation and/or impeachment of all public servants who refuse to abide by restrictions like the ones I laid out above. After all, if they oppose certain restrictions they are power hungry and do not need to be in power.
3. Demand the immediant resignation and/or impeachment of Senators Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd who, due to age and health, are no longer performing the jobs they are being paid (far too well) to do.

Can we do that? Can we make real change in this country? YES WE CAN! But it will mean that we must go against the popular, often extremely naive, masses.

In Christ Forever,
Martin
